Woman relieved of chain

A 61-year-old woman was relieved of her three sovereign chain near Shanthimedu on Thursday.
According to police, Parvathy resident of Periyanaickenpalayam, was walking with her husband in Mettupalayam Road, when the two miscreants who were hiding behind a car snatched her chain and sped away in the car.
Based on her complaint, Periyanaickenpalayam police have registered a case.
