In a new audio file that was released on Whatsapp recently, Yuvaraj, the suspected mastermind behind the murder of the Dalit youth Gokulraj, has sought the suspension of Inspector General of Police of West Zone K. Shankar in connection with the suicide of the Namakkal Deputy Superintendent of Police, R.R. Vishnupriya.

Yuvaraj, the founder of Dheeran Chinnamalai Gounder Peravai, has also stated that Superintendent of Police of Namakkal S.R. Senthil Kumar, Additional DSP Chandramohan and DSP Raju should be arrested and alleged that he has substantial evidence to prove them guilty of driving her to suicide.

Yuvaraj had previously announced that the he would release an audio on Sunday 11.00 AM with enough proofs against the superior officials in the Vishnupriya suicide case.

In the audio released on Sunday, he has alleged that Vishnupriya was under enormous pressure from her superiors while investigating the case. He has further released a mobile phone chat with Vishnupriya in which, he claims that she had confessed that she was under pressure.

“She admits in the phone chat that she was forced by her superiors to book innocent people in connection with the Gokulraj murder case under Goondas Act,” he said. He also alleged that the West Zone IG was aware of all the false cases but has not taken any action.

Yuvaraj claimed that both ADSP Chandramohan and DSP Raju had also beaten up many others in connection with the case and had arrested more than 100 people in various districts.

“Even though Vishnupriya was the Investigating Officer on record, she had no control over the case. The ADSP had all the controls,” he alleged. He had also claimed that Vishnupriya was verbally abused by ADSP Chandramohan in front of lower ranked officials, which further insulted her.

Declaring that he would face the charges against him legally, Yuvaraj also added that a special investigation commission should be formed to arrest all the officials who were involved. “Vishnupriya was an honest police officer who should not be forgotten like others. Justice should prevail and criminals should be brought to justice. I would soon surrender in the Madras High Court,” Yuvaraj said.
