Tiger comes calling

A lone tiger that frequents the Attadi village near Coonoor has sent jitters among its residents.
According to sources, the villagers spotted a tiger sitting on a rock. “We have been seeing it at the same spot in the last few days,” a villager said. They immediately alerted the forest officials, who rushed to the village and examined the footprints and confirmed that it belonged to a tiger. Officials appealed to the residents not to venture out alone and take care of their their cattle.
