Officers of customs and revenue dept arrested for taking bribe from TASMAC outlets

An officer of the customs and revenue department were caught red-handed by the sleuths of Vigilance and Anti Corruption Department while accepting bribe from TASMAC outlets that had not renewed their licence. Officers Jaishree and Senthilkumar Raja had been collecting bribes from various TASMAC outlets in Coimbatore for the last two days. They arrived in a private call taxi to the TASMAC outlet in Saibaba Colony last night where they were caught by the sleuths. They had allegedly collected Rs 2.25 lakh as bribe in the last 2 days.
