Plea to develop tourist spots in Nilgiris

A group of activists and section of people have urged the district administration to develop tourist spots at Udhagamandalam and other parts of Nilgiris district.
In an appeal to the administration, they said instead of encouraging neighbouring States to set up their own tourist spot in Ooty, authorities should initiate steps to develop the original ones so that the administration does not lose revenue.
