Hunger fast against Vairamuthu continues

Hindu outfits and supporters of Sri Ramanuja Jeeyar are on a hunger fast at Sri Venu Gopala Swamy temple in Big Bazaar Street in Coimbatore. This follows the defamatory remark made by poet, lyricist Vairamuthu on Andal. Though Vairamuthu had apologized earlier, the protesters want him to tender an unconditional apology at the sanctum sanctorum of the Andal temple in Srivilliputhur.
