New Delhi: Never has it really happened that just a few days ahead of a big release, makers address a joint press conference announcing that the clash at the Box Office has been averted.

Padmaavat and padman were earlier scheduled to hit the screens on January 25, 2018—making it the biggest clash of titans right at the start of this year.

However, this has now been averted. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Akshay Kumar held a joint press conference in Mumbai where she addressed and media about the major development. Akki informed the press that it was necessary for Padmaavat to get a solo release on that date so after a lot of discussions, we mutually decided to postpone PadMan to February 9, 2018.
