Huge congregation of BJP , RSS cadres target of Coimbatore serial bomb blasts, not LK Advani

BJP Leader LK Advani was not the target of the bomb blasts as it was largely perceived. The serial bomb blasts that rocked Coimbatore on Feb 14 , 1998 was meant to avenge the killing of 18 Muslim youth on Nov 30, 1997. In a STARTLING REVELATION , they said that the day was picked for the blasts because RSS, BJP and other fringe outfit members congregated in large numbers, say members of the banned Al Umma outfit.
20 years on, the families and convicts regret the loss of lives during the blasts. They await the release of those who’ve been languishing in jail for almost two decades.
