When the makers of Rangasthalam released Ram Charan’s look in the film, Tinsel Town couldn’t stop gushing about it. The actor plays the role of Chitti, a hearing-impaired person who lives happily in his village.

Today, a teaser revealing the look of Samantha Akkineni in Rangasthalam was unveiled by the makers. Going gaga over Samantha’s character, Chitti says, “Rama Lakshmi makes the village feel 18 again. She is the one who makes Chitti’s heart skip a beat.”

Samantha’s de-glam look is definitely one of the highlights of the film. She looks every bit rustic and does the village chores with grace. In particular, the last shot where she stands with one foot on a washing stone grabs the attention of everyone.

The shooting of Rangasthalam, which has music by Devi Sri Prasad, was wrapped up recently. The makers have announced that the film would hit the theatres on March 30.

Directed by Sukumar, this period film set in the 1980s, is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
