Dr Asokan, Dean of Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in an interview to the press has said that patients from Kerala affected with fever are treated in seclusion by a special team of doctors and requested the public not to panic. He further advised the public to immediately consult a doctor in case of fevers and to avoid self medication.
