Governor cuts short his Ooty visit

Tamil Nadu Governor, Banwarilal Purohit who arrived in Ooty with his family on May 21rst had planned to stay till June 2nd to enjoy the festivities of summer festival and visit the tourist spots. But, with the riots and subsequent police shooting which claimed 11 lives in Tuticorin, he cut short his visit and left Ooty by car this evening.
