Beat plastic pollution expo in Coimbatore today

Coimbatore: Coimbatore Municipal Corporation has organised an expo on ‘Alternatives to plastic and chemicals items’ as part of World Environment Day today. It will be held from 4pm. to 8pm at Prozone Mall.
June 5 is observed as a World Environment Day across the world. This year, the corporation has planned to observe it with a theme – beat the plastic pollution. It has been taking up many initiatives for plastic-free Coimbatore since 2016 and has organised an expo this year.

It is expected to be a platform to get alternatives for plastic and chemicals.
