Conference of doctors,physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

A two day conference was inaugurated today in Coimbatore on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy where doctors, physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists participated and discussed on measures to deal with the fatal disease which damages the muscle mass and sometimes the heart too. Ways to help the parents of such patients to identify the problem and deal with it were also discussed.
