18% increase in tax revenue in Coimbatore after implementation of GST system

With the completion of one year after levying of GST , GST week was celebrated in Coimbatore .Srinivasa Rao, Commissioner of GST and Excise department , Coimbatore who took part in the celebrations said that after the GST, there has been an 18% increase in tax revenue from Coimbatore and that more than sixty thousand new tax payers from Coimbatore district have joined.
