Director Amir who was in the 6th Judicial Magistrate Court, Coimbatore in regard to his anticipatory bail accused the Central government of branding as terrorists and antagonists anyone fighting for their rights and alleged the government to be adopting fascist attitude towards people fighting to protect agricultural lands in the Salem highway issue.
