Ladies club conducts memorial service for drinking water tap

Condemning the Corporation’s act of awarding the water distribution contract to a private entity, SUEZ for 26 years, members of a ladies club went in procession to Aavarampaalayam in Coimbatore and conducted a memorial service to a drinking water tap in that area. They were later arrested by the police.
