Parts of water tank crashes down. Substandard construction blamed

A water tank of two and a half lakh litre capacity was constructed last month in M R Gardens near Perur Postal Colony, Coimbatore for the purpose of combined water distribution to the residents. Parts of this water tank, namely the pipes crashed down today onto the terrace of a house nearby . The residents blame the substandard construction for the damge and demand that the water tank be removed.
