Due to the active Southwest Monsoon, Coimbatore has been receiving a good amount of rainfall. Meanwhile, from early this morning there has been widespread rains all over the city and its suburbs and is expected to continue tomorrow also. As the rains would be accompanied by strong winds, the farmers have been advised to take precautionary measures to protect the crops.
