Construction workers union petition for financial welfare benefits

Construction workers union submitted a petition to the Coimbatore District Collector, P. Hariharan demanding financial assistance for funeral before the funeral rites, unconditional retirement benefits on completion of 60 years of age and several other demands. More than 100 construction workers met the Collector and submitted their petition.
