Public demand the cancellation of connecting road project in Karumbukadai

In light of the flyover work going on in Ukkadam area, construction of a connecting road has been on the plans in Karumbukadai area to ease traffic congestion. As it would affect the residences and the agricultural land in that area, the people of Saramedu have submitted a petition to the Coimbatore District collector, T N Hariharan demanding that the connecting road project be dropped.
