People swept away in floods of Kerala

With heavy rains lashing Kerala, many of the dams have been opened causing huge floods. Here is a video of people being swept away in the floods in Kaniyambatta, Wayanad District. In spite of efforts to rescue them by the locals, many of them were swept away in the swirling waters.
