Jeeva Nagar residents petition against eviction

Jeeva Nagar residents submitted a petition to the Coimbatore District collector T N Hariharan requesting that the TN Slum Clearance Board grants them ownership of their land in which they have been living for the last 40 years. They allege that though they had paid the amount and lease installments to the slum clearance board, corporation is pressurising them to vacate.
