Coimbatore district records 530mm rain in one day

Coimbatore district has ben experiencing widespread rains due to the active South West monsoon. Meanwhile, yesterday the district recorded 530mm rains in a single day. The Siruvani dam is expected to reach its full capacity very soon while the Kovai Kuttralam falls remains closed to the public due to heavy rains.
