Director Bharathiraja pays homage to Kalaignar

In an event organised at Coimbatore, dignitaries from the film industry paid homage to the deceased DMK leader M Karunanidhi and spoke in praise of him. Director Bharathiraja said that people in the fields of politics, arts and literature are heart broken by his demise and expressed confidence that Stalin will take his place ably. He also raised the question on why Kalaignar was not included in the Tamil Cinema’s Centenary celebrations.
