Celebrating birth anniversary of Brahmasri Papanasam Sivan

Known to celebrate festivals and special occasions with lot of enthusiasm, Brookefields Mall will celebrate the 125th birth anniversary of Brahmasri Papanasam Sivan on November 1.
Papanasam Sivan was a prominent composer of Carnatic music and a singer. He was also a music composer for Kannada and Tamil cinemas in the 1930s and 40s. Brookefields Mall is celebrating the birth anniversary of this accomplished composer with day-long events on November 1. The Mall is organizing a vocal and dance competition, thereby providing a platform for artistes to display their singing and dance talents. All participants will receive a participation certificate.
In the evening, the Mall has organized two concerts by Sivanugraha group, led by Dr. Rukmini Ramani, and Papanasam Ashok Ramani. Kalaimamani Dr.Rukmini Ramani is the daughter of Papanasam Sivan; and Papanasam Ashok Ramani, his grandson.
