Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s love story is the current favourite with Bollywood enthusiasts. What started as a fling on the sets of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra has turned into a full-fledged romance. And both Ranbir and Alia have admitted to being in a relationship. If Ranbir has made it official through interviews, Alia loves to indulge in social-media PDA.

It seems like the lovebirds have got a green signal from their families. If Rishi Kapoor recently revealed that Neetu Kapoor and he likes Alia, the Raazi actress’s mom Soni Razdan also said that she is fond of Ranbir.

In an interview to a leading daily, Soni Razdan opened up on her equation with daughter Alia and also Ranbir Kapoor.

When she was asked if Alia has discussed about her relationship with Ranbir to her, Soni said, “I don’t discuss these things with anybody. (Laughs) Of course, we know Ranbir very well.”

Much before Ranbir and Alia made it official, a lot was written about their rumoured relationship. So how did she react to these reports. To which she replied, “I have a very good relationship with my daughter. I don’t go by what rumours say; I talk to her directly. We have had discussions on what’s going on or not going on in her life. It’s her life at the end of the day, so I am happy to let her live it the way she wants to.”

She was also asked about Rishi Kapoor’s comment on Ranbir-Alia relationship wherein he said that Neetu and he likes Alia. Razdan quipped, “I don’t know really, Rishi ji is very outspoken, he never minces words. We all know each other, I have worked with him. I know Neetu and Ranbir. What’s the big thing? But Ranbir is a lovely, lovely boy.”

On the work front, Ranbir and Alia are working together for the first time in Brahmastra. The film is set to hit the screens in 2019.
