Tragedy strikes when you least expect it and just leaves you devastated and shocked. This is exactly what we are experiencing after hearing about the shocking deaths of Indian travel blogger couple, Vishnu Viswanath and Meenakshi Moorthy.

Vishnu and Meenakshi, who were married since 2014, had a travel blog named ‘Holidays and HappilyEverAfters’, where they regularly documented their travel experiences. They were a fun-loving, positive and happy couple with an unending zest for life- something that is clearly visible in the pictures on their social-media accounts.

The couple, who recently moved to San Jose from New York, were at the Yosemite National Park in California where they fell to their deaths from Taft Point. They plummeted 800 feet down to a deep terrain below the tourist spot, which is super famous for its picturesque views.

The couple died on October 25 but was identified only on Monday (October 29).

A photo of Meenakshi went viral after the news of their death broke. It is probably the last picture of the travel blogger couple on Taft Point, moments before they fell to their tragic deaths.

Sean Matteson, an Oakland resident, who was taking a selfie on Taft Point at that time, was photobombed by Meenakshi unknowingly. The flaming pink hair is a perfect identification that the woman in the picture is none other than the blogger herself.

According to reports on a local Californian news website, Sean was quite shocked when he learned that he might have taken the last known photo of the blogger, just moments before she fell from the Taft Point with her husband.
