Coimbatore Medical College Hospital Dean, Dr B Asokan, while addressing the press at the wake of a cat nibbling a dead body of a lady inside the general ward of the hospital stated cats don’t spread infections if they simply move around the patient. Infections occur only if the cat is infected!
