Machines, materials despatched to 3,070 booths

Additional security measures will be in place in the nearly 470 sensitive booths out of a total 3,070 booths in the district, going to polls tomorrow, District Collector K Rajamani said today. Speaking to media after monitoring the despatch of EVMs and VVPATs, Rajamani said that all arrangements had been made to conduct a free and fair polls, with tight security measures at place in both the Coimabtore and Pollachi Lok Sabha constituencies. .
