Asst Town Planning Officer arrested for graft

The Assistant Town Planning Officer Saravanan and two others of the Coimbatore Corporation were arrested for accepting bribe of Rs. 2.5 lakhs from a real estate owner for allotting house sites. The owner complained to the DVAC and the sleuths caught him red handed when he was handed over chemical laced notes
