Coimbatore based Deepika who won gold medal in Wheel Chair fencing championship has appealed. Father of a tea seller, 19 year old Deepika was affected by polio. She has completed her BCom degree. The sports equipment required for national and international level sports championships are expensive so I have requested Collector to get her the essentials.
