Lone tusker kills two in two days in Coimbatore

Indicative of the intense human-animal conflict because of human encroachment into animal habitat, a lone tusker has killed two persons in two days. The forests and forest fringes that border Anaikatti, Pannimadai, Thadagam and Mangarai, along Western Ghats is a home to several wild elephants. They have been wandering into human habitat in search of food and water.
