People’s Rath Yatra to spread Gandhian philosophies

To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a statewide people’s ‘Rath Yatra’ was organized. The yatra began on October 2 in Chennai and had crossed 16 districts so far. Today the yatra reached ABC Matric School in Coimbatore. The yatra will end on October 22 at the Gandhi Mandapam in Kanyakumari. The main aim of the yatra is to spread the Gandhian ideologies in 150 schools, colleges, and villages.
