Women complain against health officials

Amutha, Kaaliyammal, and Rathna have been daily wage workers at the dengue section of Coimbatore Corporation’s Health Department (Ward 40). While they were working at Elango Nagar in Aavarampalayam, the Health Inspector and another officer of the Health Department who came on supervision duty told them that it was compulsory to wear protective coats.
Even as the women could offer proper explanations, the officers allegedly spoke to them inappropriately and took away their equipment. The women have thus filed a complaint to against the officers.
