Gaur gores man to death

An Indian Gaur gored a 44-year old tribal to death near his house in Solerock, Coonoor.
Kaniga Kuttan, a member of the Thoda tribe, was searching for his buffalo which had gone missing since morning from his house in Ulikkal. Suddenly, the bison, an Indian Gaur, appeared from behind and attacked the victim, goring him to death.
Police and forest officials rushed to the spot. Investigations are on.
