Azhiyar Purple Dots school children who won the overall championship title at the national level yoga competition held in Goa received a warm welcome at the Coimbatore airport.

Recently, the second national-level yoga competition was held in Goa on behalf of Goa and the International Youth Yoga Federation.

More than 500 school students and kindergarteners from various states like Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Goa took part in this competition. Competitions were held on the basis of age under categories including general category, special category, and artistic, rhythmic category. Tiny tots from Purple Dots School in Pollachi, Kotur, Malayandipattanam area of Coimbatore district participated on behalf of Tamil Nadu and won the championship title by scoring the highest points. The head coach Ms.Akhilandeswari and the kinesthetic kids were given an enthusiastic welcome at the Coimbatore airport to celebrate the victory. In addition, the champions amazed the entire crew at the airport by performing various yoga postures. The Principal of the school Mr. Kanakadhara, Correspondent Mr. Gowtam, Coach Mr.Yogiraj, and many other eminent personalities of the school took part in this extraordinary event. The buds have attracted everyone’s attention through their remarkable record in district-level and state-level yoga competitions.
