The International Conference on Advances in Materials,Modeling,and Analysis for Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure (AMMA SRI-25),jointly organized by the Department of Civil Engineering,Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, and the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, commenced on January 9, 2025, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
The three-day conference, which concludes today, has brought together leading experts from academia and industry to discuss groundbreaking innovations in sustainable and resilient infrastructure. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Ganesan N, Former Professor (HAG) and Dean, NIT Calicut, as the Chief Guest, setting the tone for enriching sessions and collaborative discussions.
In his inaugural address, Prof. Ganesan N stated, “We face immense challenges, from rapid urbanization and climate change to the depletion of natural resources. Conferences like AMMA SRI-25 are vital for bringing together like-minded researchers and innovators to address these pressing issues. Sustainability and resilience must not only guide our technological solutions but also our attitudes and lifestyles.
