Girl run over by truck

In a tragic incident, a 19-year old girl was fatally run over by a truck in the wee hours on Wednesday.
According to sources, the deceased R. Ramya was travelling pillion with her father on a motorbike near SITRA signal. A truck coming from Hope College hit their motorbike. Ramya fell off the bike. The truck’s back wheel ran over Ramya and she died on the spot. Her father G. Ramgarajan escaped without injuries.
A case has been booked against the driver of the truck, Arumugam with East Wing Traffic Police and they have started the investigation.
