Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr Vijay Karthikeyan recently appointed 44 people, including our very own Editor-in-Chief, Vidhyashree Dharmaraj, as ambassadors of the Swachh Bharat mission. The ambassadors will be assigned the specific task of carrying out the Swachh Bharat mission in our city.

The Managing Director of AES Technologies and Managing Editor of Covai Post, Balaji Raju has also been hand-picked as one of the brand ambassadors.

They have been selected because of the contributions that they have made to the society in their chosen fields. Abdul Hakkim of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Anusha Ravi of Park Institutions, Bharni Dharan and Aparna of Arc Foundation, Latha Sundaram of Aram Foundation, Ramesh Babu of Siruthuli, C.R.
