Coimbatore Book Fest to display more than 1 lakh titles

Starting August 14, the 10 day long Coimbatore Book Festival 2015 will feature more than 100 publishers from all over the country, and 1 lakh different titles covering almost all the topics under the sun. The expo will be held in CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex.

According to K.S. Pugalendi, secretary, Booksellers and Publishers Association of South India (BAPASI), this time, there will be 150 stalls, featuring books mainly in English, Tamil, and Hindi. The fest is expected to bring in sales of Rs.2 crores. The books will carry a discount of 10%.

Invitations have been sent to about 1200 schools and colleges in Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Nilgiris.
