Students should develop knowledge and career skills in college days so as to achieve greater milestones, Dr. Kavidasan, director (HR), Roots Industries, has said.

Addressing the first year students of the Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, he said educational institutions provide opportunity to students to develop their career path and set goals for life. “You have now reached a stage where you are independent and decide what you are going to achieve in your life.” Dr. Kavidasan said.

He advised the students to make use of the library to develop their general and subject knowledge. Reminding the students that opportunity knocks the door just once, he asked them to grab every opportunity that comes their way. “Improve your eligibility as an engineer,” he said.

Dr. K. Sundaraman, CEO of Sri Krishna Institutions, Dr. M. Jayakumar, chief administrator of Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology were also present.
