With the aim of offering a hassle-free buying experience, tyre manufacturing company, Yokohama India Pvt Ltd., opened its new store in Coimbatore. The store, located on Avinashi Road, also connects Tirupur, Erode, Salem and Bangalore Highway. The outlet, named Shri Wheel Alignments, is the fiftieth (50th) specialised Yokohama Club Network (YCN) in India, and the first in Coimbatore.

Apart from tyres, the store will also offer tyre changing, wheel alignment, wheel balance, tyre rotation, and nitrogen gas filling, among other services.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Sanjay Chatterjee, Chief General Manager, Yokohama India Pvt Ltd., said, “With this store, Yokohama has further strengthened its position in India. This milestone takes us one step closer to our endeavour to give a complete range of Yokohama Tyres in one place, for a wholesome buying experience.”

R Mohan Raj, owner of Shri Wheel Alignments, the 50th YCN in India, said, “We decided to open the Yokohama store because of the superior market reputation of this company, in terms of technology, and also the increasing demand for the Yokohama Earth 1 tyres, specially made for the Indian road conditions.”

Yokohama India, is a 100% subsidiary of the Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. Yokohama currently has more than 825 points of sales in India apart from the 50 Yokohama Club Networks.
