Old man dies after falling from flyover

An elderly man had a fatal fall today from a flyover in the city.
The man, yet to be identified and about 60 years in appearance, was standing on the flyover for long and suddenly fell to the ground, head down, from some 20 feet, dying instantly, police said.
The deceased was wearing only a lungi and sported a beard. Investigations are on to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide or accidental fall. The body was sent to the Government Hospital for post-mortem.
