Saplings planted in Singanallur Lake

Around 100 students from Nanjundapuram Government School today planted tree saplings around the Singanallur Lake.
Corporation Commissioner Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan inaugurated the drive that was jointly organised by City-based NGO Animal Rescuers, along with other NGOs.
Ten student volunteers from Krishna College of arts and science were given away certificates for their initiative to plant more saplings in the area in the last five months.
