2-day Japanese film festival in Covai

Aficionados of world cinema are in for a special treat. Coimbatore will host a two-day Japanese Film Festival from September 19.

The festival, jointly organized by the Consulate of Japan, ABK-AOTS Dosokai, and the Coimbatore chapter of the Japanese Language School, in association with Konangal Film Society, will be presided over by Koji Sugiyama, Deputy Consul-General of Japan in Chennai. The festival will be inaugurated by Nandini Rangasamy, Founder Trustee of GRG Institutions.

The festival will screen four films – Happy Flight, Wanko, Robo-G and Brave Story.
