2 held for mouse deer poaching

Forest department officials arrested two persons on charges of hunting mouse deer (sarugu maan) in the forest ranges of Devathanapatti in Theni district.
They also seized the carcasses of the mouse deer, a country-made single-barrel gun and torches from poachers Nagarajan and Gunasekaran.
The accused were produced in court and remanded in custody.
