Erode, March 20, 2029 – ITAMMA (Indian Textile Accessories & Machinery Manufacturers’ Association) is set to host its 28TH EDITION OF B2B BUYERS SELLERS MEET / INDUSTRIES EXPERTS NETWORKING MEETING at Parimalam Mahal, Erode, on 22nd March 2025 (Saturday). The event will be inaugurated by Mr. V.S. Palaniswamy, Chairman of Pallava Group, who will serve as the chief guest, alongside Mr. Ramesh Natrajan, Executive Director of AGT Mills and also President of “The Indian Manmade Yarn Manufacturers Association”.

Sundarraj and Balaji speak: The 28th edition of the India Textile Components and Machinery Buyers and Sellers Meet will be held in Erode on 22nd March. As many as 600 participants from the Erode region including Namakkal, Pallipalayam, Vepadu, Tiruchengode, Karur and Salem will take part in the event. In this meeting between buyers and sellers, technologies, innovations can be learned. The programme will be held from 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Birla Cellulose, a supplier of raw materials, Coimbatore Simta Group of Companies, a leading manufacturer of textile machinery, and Celkon LLP, a leading manufacturer of prefabricated structures. The event is being organised by the Society of Indian Synthetic Fibre Manufacturers.
The Indian Textile Machinery Manufacturers and Spare Parts Manufacturers Association is one of the largest and oldest associations in India. It has more than 500 members. Wherever there are buyers, we hold this event. It is not only in the big city, but in the areas where the mills are located, it helps all parties to see and benefit.
Spinning Mill will help the Dye Workshop Holders to share information during the event. Companies from India and abroad are participating in the event. It exports to 25 countries. Lakshmi Ring Travelers, a leading manufacturer of Introllers, is participating. There is also a seminar at 5.00 pm, where industry experts speak. This is the second event held by Itama in Erode.
We are manufacturing the world’s best machines in India. We are exporting to 25 countries. As far as the Indian textile industry is concerned, we are lagging behind in terms of post yarn production. But we are ahead of the curve. We are exporting 5 per cent of our production. It accounts for 12% of the world’s population. Most of the exhibitors are exporters. More than 60 companies from across the country are showcasing their innovations and products.

Erode occupies a unique place in the history of textiles and is also known for its handloom weaving, especially the production of viscose yarn. A large number of textile manufacturing units are located on the banks of rivers Cauvery and Bhavani. Erode will play a unique role in the textile industry.
