3-day EU film festival from August 22

Twenty-three internationally acclaimed films would be screened during the three-day European Union Film Festival at the Bharathiar University from August 22.

The festival, held as part of the 21st Anniversary of European Union Film Festival across 11 cities in India, would conclude here. All the films being screened have either won reputed awards or have been nominated to prestigious competitions.

The festival has been organised by the Department of Communication and Media Studies in association with the Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation (ICAF),Chennai. The films would be screened at three locations simultaneously at the varsity.
