A Menon from Bangladesh surprised many at the left parties meet

Kozhikode: A Menon from Bangladesh surprised many at the two-day South Asian meet of left parties in Kochi on Saturday. Bangladesh Civil Aviation Minister Rashid Khan Menon has no connection with Kerala, but his father gave him the Menon title as he was a die-hard fan of the erstwhile Defence Minster V K Krishna Menon who led India against China in 1962.
Rashid Khan’s father Abdul Jabbar Khan was Speaker at Pakistan General Assembly. Jabbar Khan used to call him Menon at home and later it prefixed his name.
