The Coimbatore All India Anna Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (AIADMK) on Saturday passed seven resolutions thanking Chief Minster Jayalalithaa, and condemning the Namakku Naame tour by Stalin.

In the first party functionary meeting held at the party office near Anna statue after Jayalalithaa returned as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the cadre praised their chief for winning the RK Nagar by-poll and becoming the CM again.

The members have also thanked the chief minister for stabilizing the power tariff and also for raising Rs.2,40,160 crore investments at the International Investors Meet held in Chennai earlier this year.

Lauding the visions and leadership of the chief minister, they said that the party will win all the seats in the 2016 state elections, adding that the incentives provided by the party have largely benefited the people of Tamil Nadu.

Condemning the DMK, the members passed a resolution saying that the Namakku Naamae campaign being carried out by M.K. Stalin was an elaborate colourful drama, adding that the people are aware of it too.

S.P. Velumani, Minister of Municipal Administration and Rural Development, added that the party would definitely sweep the polls in the upcoming elections. Mayor P. Rajkumar, S.M. Velusamy, and other party functionaries participated in the meeting.
